e recovery and regeneration service is one of 88Labware's major strengths. With our service, companies using crucibles on a continuous basis can now recover used material and reuse it for the production of new one.
The mechanism is simple enough: using an insured transport carrier, our agent will recover the customer's used material.
Our foundry department takes this material to recover any precious metals from exhausted crucibles, but also from scrap, waste, parings, filings, powders, melting residues (tongues or sprues) produced during the goldsmith's work.
The next step is the collection of drilling chips (sample), which will be analysed in our internal laboratory via chemical processes (cupellation) or with a fluorescence X-ray instrument.
At this point, the precious metal content will be credited to the metal account (each customer has its own account) at 8853; once the new crucibles have been produced, any metal differences will be quantified.
Therefore, the recovery and regeneration service is a door-to-door service delivered in quick and reactive fashion, thanks also to the collaboration of trusted and insured carriers used for fast and safe pick-ups and deliveries .
Furthermore, the 8853 Laboratory offers its services of control analysis on samples containing gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, for which it will issue a detailed content report for internal use.
